The pearl of the Ustyurt reserve
The hollow, extraordinarily beautiful, fascinates with its unique natural landscape, where sand and clay are replaced by salt marshes, among which there are five remnant mountains, representing rock formations with an unusual color.
The low part of the depression is occupied by Kendirli litter, which stretches for 80 km under the inaccessible cliff of the Ustyurt plateau. In the north, Mount Karamay, with a height of 100 meters and a length of 15 km, is formed as a result of a powerful volcanic explosion and has existed for about 70 million years.
In the vastness of the hollow you can find rare animals and birds listed in the Red Book. This is one of the wildest places that will not leave you indifferent, where you can feel the unity with nature.
